Supervision
At In His Image Counseling Center, we are passionate about growing and supporting new therapists. We provide clinical supervision that supports new therapists in developing their therapeutic and professional skills while maintaining integrity to a Catholic understanding of the human person.
Our board certified supervisors offer services at our center and provide a safe and supportive space to process cases while offering constructive feedback and guidance. As an associate with In His Image Counseling, our therapists have access to support and feedback from our multidisciplinary team. We work to help our associates in developing their own professional identity and individuality towards becoming successful and effective therapists while also providing a foundation and framework that allows them to integrate a Catholic anthropology into evidence-based psychotherapy techniques.
We utilize many supervision models and provide training rooted in the psychological works of St. Thomas Aquinas and Baars-Terruwe Model model (Affirmation Therapy). Our associates have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of different theories and techniques so that they are equipped to provide well rounded treatments to clients. Additionally, our team provides guidance on continuing education recommendations as well as different reading materials that would be beneficial for personal and professional development.
